The most frequent subjective symptom is abnormal bleeding. Compared to cervical cancer, the age to get uterine body cancer is relatively older. Special attention is required when there is abnormal bleeding after menopause. Even before menopause(perimenopause), if you have something like menstruation irregularities or you may have suffered from breast cancer etc, you still need attention.

Recommendation of medical examination

In general, "uterine cancer screening" conducted in regional examination and occupational examination mainly focuses on cervical cancer examination and does not include uterine body cancer/ endometrial cancer examination.

If the doctor considers it necessary due to inquiries at the time of the uterine cancer screening, screening of uterine body cancer (uterine body cytology) will be performed at the same time.
Therefore, women in their 40s and older who are at the risk should consult about whether to examine uterine body cancer/endometrial cancer at the time of medical examination.

In general, gynecological examinations will be performed when there is no abnormal bleeding for accurate diagnosis. When there is abnormal bleeding, please do not wait for the bleeding to stop. In addition, it is important to have an examination at medical institute rather than an examination at gynecology.
