Immunohistochemical Staining test

It is one of the judgment criteria to examine the degree of expression of the molecule on which the immune cell marks the attack on the cancer tissue, in order to select the treatment method of each individual patient.
Using a method called immunohistochemical staining using either formalin fixative material, paraffin block, paraffin sliced section of cancer cells removed from the patient by surgery, it is possible to examine the expression status of MHC class I which is one of molecules expressed on the surface of cancer cells.
